We launched in 2021, with the simple aim of giving our clients – and their loved ones – financial peace of mind. Having worked as a financial adviser for a number of years within another St. James's Place Practice, our Director, Alex Smith, decided to carve his own path. He wanted to create a financial advice service with a difference. A straight-talking service with no confusing jargon. A service that doesn’t sell on either fees or performance and therefore provides advice based on what’s best for each individual. A service that’s proactive and doesn’t wait for clients to call. And so, Oaksmith was born. We pride ourselves on our friendly, accessible and transparent approach to financial planning, with a focus on building long-term relationships through face-to-face advice. We see financial advice as collaborative – we’re here to support you in making your own choices. We do so with regular planning and review meetings, which allow us to gain a deeper understanding of what’s important to you.
